What do you need before you scan?
- Plug the antenna's coaxial cable into the TV's antenna port. Roku calls it Ant/Cable In, Samsung calls it ANT IN, and TCL calls it CABLE/ANT.
- If the antenna has a power cable, plug it in. Roku's instructions list this as a step before the scan.
- Put the antenna where it will stay, near a window or up high. LG recommends both. If you move it later, scan again.

What if the scan finds no channels?
Check that the cable is firmly connected to the antenna port, and that you chose Antenna (or Air) rather than Cable. Then move the antenna higher or closer to a window facing the towers and scan again. Your city page shows which direction the towers are, and the signal guide covers the next steps.
